Our mission is to lead students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We plan to accomplish this by creating environments where:
-Students are excited to invite friends
-God’s truth is communicated in a relevant way
-Meaningful friendships lead to spiritual growth
-Students are encouraged to prioritize their relationship with Christ
-Parents can partner with us to support their student
Sundays, 6th through 12th Grades: 11:00am-12:15pm
Middle School and High School students are together for large group teaching time and then move into age level breakdowns for small group time. Music will close our time together.
To allow for our inclusion of small group time we will begin promptly at 11:00am. We encourage students to arrive up to 15 minutes earlier if they want to have some time with their friends.
Alternating Hang Time Wednesdays: 6:00-8:00pm
Hang Time for both Senior High and Middle School are separated by age-levels and alternate use of The House. Hang Time is meant to be a time when students can invite their friends to come and have fun in a safe environment with caring adults.
Senior High (9th-12th grades) will meet 2x a month as calendared monthly, one may be offsite and the other will be at The House. Small group leaders may offer additional meeting times as they choose.
Middle School (6th-8th grades) will be the weeks in between Senior High Hang Time nights and will be incorporated into Wyldlife program hosted at The House here at Hillside. Hillside staff is present and helping with program. Wyldlife is Hillside’s Middle School mid-week environment.
Events and Retreats:
All events and retreats will show up on the monthly calendars and be promoted for 6 weeks in advance. Sign up for events and retreats will require permission slips and payment (at least partial) included at the time of sign-up.
