Volunteer Opportunities

Thanks for your interest in getting involved at Hillside Church. It takes about 50 volunteers to make a Sunday at Hillside happen. Waumba Land, UpStreet and Youth Volunteers

Our environments for children and youth are always on the lookout for additional loving and responsible adults to volunteer on our Sunday mornings. You can sign up for regular or part-time service.

Resources

Hillside Resources provides message CDs, and other resources that equip people to pursue relationships with God and others. Volunteers are needed to help with CD reproduction and to help with the resource area with a time commitment of one hour once or twice per month.

Host Team

The Inside Team serves our attendees by welcoming them into our church home. Team members greet, pass out bulletins, collect the offering, help with communion and/or serve at the Information Center.

The Outside Team serves our attendees by driving our parking shuttle and facilitating parking so that people attending Hillside have a pleasant parking experience.

The Setup Team serves our attendees by arriving early to help set up tables and chairs, changing light bulbs if necessary, sweeping the front entrance, making coffee, cleaning up after the services, etc.

Building and Grounds

It takes a lot to keep our building looking good. Each season brings much needed upkeep around the Hillside, so there’s an ongoing opportunity for pruning, weeding and mowing, painting and repairs.
