There are times in our lives when we could use a little help with everyday needs, like when there is a new baby in the home, or a family member is ill, or there has been a death in the family. This ministry provides meals to those in need, sometimes for weeks at a time. We have heard from recent recipients of just how important this ministry is.
Churches in Marin supply all the meals for the Mill Street Homeless Shelter in San Rafael. Multiple Hillside teams rotate schedules to provide the meals on most Tuesdays. Each Hillside team supplies meals approximately five times a year. Each member prepares one part of the meal and delivers it to the shelter. This is an ongoing ministry.
