How eGive works:
By completing the eGive form you are instructing your bank to electronically transfer cash from your personal checking account to Hillside Church, either on a one-time basis or on an interval basis. If you wish to discontinue giving, or if you wish to change the amount and frequency of your giving, you simply change your giving instructions at eGive.
Is eGiving safe?
Yes. The Automated Clearing House (ACH) network is a nationwide electronic payments system used by more than 20,000 financial institutions, 4 million corporations, and 135 million consumers. ACH is used for direct deposit, bill payment, home banking, point of sale, point of purchase, cash concentration and disbursement, corporate trade payments, check truncation, and now eGiving.
The Automated Clearing House (ACH) processed more than 18 billion automated clearing house payments valued at $37 trillion during 2007 according to NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association. As a result of this network, eGive guarantees an accurate electronic debit from your account.
When and how is my online giving confirmed?
Once you have completed the eGive form, you will receive a receipt of the transaction immediately via email. If you experience difficulties or have other questions, please e-mail us at admin@hillsidemarin.org.
There may be significant tax advantages to donating appreciated stock. Please contact your tax professional for specific advice.
How to Give Stock
- Complete and send the following form to your broker. (Stock Transfer Form)
- Your broker will provide the transfer papers to complete the transfer.
- If you have donated stock in the past please note that our account number changed in November 2010.
- Contact Steve Pridemore at steve@hillsidemarin.org and inform him when you are transferring the stock and the name of the security being transferred.
